The Human Development Report Office facilitates the exchange of experiences and ideas amongst the members of two extensive networks of specialists and practitioners. We also wish to familiarize you with the activities of parallel networks that can offer great opportunities for learning and sharing amongst peers.

Over the years, the global, regional, national and sub-national Human
Development Reports have inspired a global movement to articulate human
development priorities in every region and to mobilize action for
policy-making. The HDR-Net, established in 1999,
continues to strengthen this movement by serving as dynamic
springboards for professional knowledge sharing and learning on human
development issues. The network has evolved into a community of over
1000 human development professionals from within UNDP, government,
academia, research and NGO communities. Visit the section of our website to learn more. |

We keep a database of a selection of Consolidated Replies from the HDR Network discussions that have taken place since November 1999, covering specific issues or requests for advice from the human development community. The consolidated reply includes a summary of the discussion, additional resources, and all individual contributions. Consolidate Replies can be access here. |
Global knowledge networks function as professional communities that provide basic services for members, helping them become a more valuable source of development knowledge and expertise. Please find below a list of related networks on human development within and outside UNDP.
