Selim Jahan, HDRO Director, interview with Bill Miller on GCTV

In an interview with Bill Miller from Global Connections Television, HDRO Director Selim Jahan spoke about the human development approach, and provided an overview of the most recently published Human Development Reports. Stressing the idea that human development is development of the people, for the people, by the people, HDRO Director spoke about the principle of universality within the human development paradigm, which is also at the core the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the 2030 Development Agenda, and is key to ensuring that no one is left behind. Jahan also covered other key topics on the international agenda such as inequality, climate change, conflict and gender equality, and discussed how the human development approach provides a comprehensive instrument to assess many of these challenges.
